With the big event almost upon us we’ve been getting lots and lots of questions. To make things easier, here is a list of the most frequently asked with answers.
Q. Can I bring my dog?
A. Sorry, in the interests of everyone at the event no animals are allowed on site.
Q. Is there a minimum age limit?
A. Yes, the minimum age for entry to the event is 18 years. We will operate the Challenge 21 scheme and recommend everyone brings a recognised I.D Card such as a photo driving licence, passport or recognised proof of age card.
Q. Can I bring my own food and drink to the event?
A. Food and drink cannot be brought onto the premises. A licensed bar and food vendors will be present at the event with free drinking water available at the bar. Any persons trying to enter the event with food or liquids will be given the opportunity to dispose of the items or take them away from the event before entering. Any person trying to conceal items will be refused entry.

Q. Will I be searched on entry?
A. As part of our agreement with the local authority and police our security team are obliged to search every person and any belongings on entry to the event.
Q. Do you have a list of prohibited items?
A. This list is not conclusive but main items include; liquids, foods, illegal substances, so called legal-highs, glass, sharp objects such as pen knives, novelty items that give the appearance of an offensive weapon, banners/flyers promoting a political, offensive or commercial message and any items deemed as inappropriate by the Security Manager.
Q. I’ve bought a ticket online but it has not arrived yet, is it lost?
A. Due to the large amount of orders received we are still posting online orders. If you have not received you tickets by Wednesday 4th July please call us on 01446 474 274. If we do not answer, please leave a message we will get back to you.
Q. Can I bring a camping chair or blanket to sit on?
A. Yes, we recommend bringing something comfortable and portable to sit on. Please do not bring your sofa though!
Q. What about the pond?
A. We love this question and have literally been asked it hundreds of times. Unfortunately, the council did not agree to the swim-up bar so we’re just going to fence it off and make it safe.
Q. I’m bringing my car, where do I park?
A. We politely request that you do not park in any of the side-streets around the venue. There is a free public car park next to Rhoose Train Station that is just a few minutes walk from the venue.
Q. Is there any public transport to Rhoose?
A. JD Taxis offer a 24/7 taxi service and can be contated on 01446711460. Trains operate hourly to Rhoose from Cardiff via Dinas and Barry and also from Bridgend via Llantwit Major. Check the travel times at https://www.arrivatrainswales.co.uk. Bus services are also operated by Cardiff Bus and NAT.
Q. Do you accept debit/credit cards at the event?
A. All bars and concessions are CASH ONLY.
